Audio Express is a 6-in/6-out, 24-bit, 96 kHz hybrid Firewire/USB audio interface. It is a good choice for musicians, producers, composers, DJs  and more.

All channels are available for simultaneous use, and it’s possible to route any input to any output pair.

The front panel shows Mic 1 and 2 as well as Line 3 and 4 volume knobs. There’s also a Mix Volume knob and independent gain controls for S/PDIF and Phones. All those encoders have different functions for push and hold, such as buss select and pan settings. You can connect any headphones or earphones using the quarter-inch jack.

Audio Express has 5-segment LEDs for Main 1 and 2 outputs and also for Line 3 and 4 inputs. There are also 10-segment LEDs for inputs 1 and 2. Phantom Power can be toggled on by pushing and holding encoders for Mic 1 and 2.

The rear panel has 5-pin Midi In/Out jacks, S/PDIF in/out, power supply jack, as well as Firewire 400 and USB 2 ports. If you connect the unit to a computer through the Firewire port, there will be no need to use an external power supply.

The rear panel also has Main Out 1 and 2 and Line Out 3 and 4 TRS jacks. There are two combo XLR/TRS Mic/Inst inputs, and also Line Inputs 3 and 4.

Audio Express comes with CueMix FX software, making it possible to control all audio routings and also can be controlled by any Mackie Control surface. For Mac users, it’s also available AudioDesk software, which provides advanced recording, editing, mixing, processing and mastering.

The product is expandable: it’s possible to connect additional interfaces for more inputs and outputs.
