DiGiGrid is a company that delivers audio interfaces with multiple connectivity options between DAWs and hardware devices. It is a partnership between Waves, the world’s leading developer of audio plugins and DiGiCo, a leading manufacturer of professional mixing consoles.
DiGiGrid D is a 4-in/6-out, 24-bit/96kHz audio interface, built in a robust box, resulting in a versatile and powerful product. One of the greatest possibilities of DiGiGrid is to connect it to multiple computers and DAWs at the same time, due to its built-in Ethernet jack. It’s also possible to expand the product’s I/O by using it in conjunction with other DiGiGrid products.
The top panel shows mic/line inputs 1 and 2, with independent gain knobs and led meters, as well as buttons to activate/deactivate phantom power, attenuation, phase inversion and mix.
There are two additional line/instrument inputs, also with independent gain knobs and meters, plus button switches for mic/instrument and mix.
The product also comes with a monitoring section, with large volume knobs for either Main Output and Headphones. There are Mono and Dim switches available, and a dedicated Mute button for the Main Output control.
The back panel has two combo XLR/TRS jacks for inputs 1 and 2, as well as TRS jacks for inputs 3 and 4. There are also four TRS outputs: 1 and 2 will work as Monitor/Main, while 3 and 4 will work as Line outputs.
DiGiGrid has a 12V DC power jack (power supply included). However, the Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection is available, for flexibility and ease of set-up.
