There are also eight encoders, as well as eight switches and eight MPC pads, which pressure and velocity sensitivity. Advance49 comes with four pad banks, so it’s possible to access up to 32 MIDI events.

What makes Advance 49 awesome is the included Virtual Instrument Player (VIP) software application. With VIP you can access an entire VSTi library and control most parameters through the integrated high-resolution full-color 4.3-inch display plus page left/right buttons, mode buttons, cursors and data dial.

VIP runs as a plugin inside any DAW and will allow the user to create setlists so that they can customize instruments and patches for instant access. Another cool feature is the Multi-Mode, with the possibility to layer up to 8 instruments/patches and create amazing sounds.
